Me, My sister ,and my new haircut

I just wanted to show you my new haircut. I posted the new picture of me on the side. That will have to do for now. I wanted a little change. Clint was not happy with me for this. It is a little short but I will get used to it I guess. We went to a basketball game the other night in valley, Sheena my sister and my mom went with me. Braysyn wanted to take a few pictures if us. It kept cutting me off and so finally sheena took this one of me and her. She is such a cutie. She is sad right now so we all have to kind of take care of her. She broke up with her boyfriend. Her choice but it is still hard for her.

It's official

It is official. It is time to start getting ready for the annual Pine Wood Derby. This is a big deal at our house. The first year that Landyn was in the Derby his car came limping down the track in last place. That is no exaggeration. We felt so bad and he said that he didn't even want to go down to the end of the track and pick it up. I think everyone else felt bad to because some of the other dad's came over and helped us get a little graphite on it. After that it did win one heat and come in second on a few. Well last year that was not going to happen again. Anyone that knows Clint and my boys knows how compettitive they are. We got things figured out last year. Landyn took first place in every heat he ran. He not only took first place in his Bear Den but he swept the whole meet. He was very happy needless to say. This year we have two cars that have to race. Austyn is a wolf this year. This is landyn's last year as a Webelo. I will keep you posted as to whether we have smiles or tears this year. This is what they look like right now.

missing in Action

Well the other day maycee and Braysyn were playing somewhere in the house, or so I thought. It was pretty cold outside. I was on the phone with my sister and I couldn't hear the kids. Anyone that knows me very well knows that if I can't hear my kids I panic. I went on a mad search for them and this is where I found them.
They had decided to go and have a little picnic outside. I thought it was cute so I snapped this picture. They had packed this basket with some fruit snacks and fruit rollups and taken a blanket and all. :)

The Cricut

This is the actual machine so if you don't know what I am talking about here it is.
This is the card and envelope that I made. I cut the card with the outline of the peapod and then I cut the shadow parts of the face and the different colored pieces and put them behind to show through.

Well I finally got around to making a few things with my Cricut Cutter. I thought I would post a few of the things for you to look at. I am not that good at it and it took me a long time to figure it out but none the less I did get a card made for a baby shower. Let me know what you think or if you have any tips on this thing.

Shopping

Well, I went shopping yestereday to St. George. My mom and sister Sheena and sister-in-law went with me. maycee went also because she has just been dying to go shopping with the girls and get a diet coke. When I stopped at my sister kyla's house she decided that she was going to dog out on me and stay there and play Barbies with Lainee. I felt bad but I did let her stay. I bought a Cricut Expression with my christmas money. It was pretty expensive but I think it will be worth it. I will let you know how I like it when I get it up and going and try things out.

New Year

Well the new year is here. Christmas has come and gone. We had quite a christmas this year. It seems as though the holidays were just a hurry here and there and never quit. My grandma Chynoweth died on christmas eve which was a blessing in a way. She could have suffered a lot more than she did. We had a fast for her the week before. She just kind of waited until all of her kids were there with her on that night before she went. We had her funeral on the 29th. Cary flew out from Conneticut to be here. It was nice to see him as it only happens about once every two years. It was good to be able to all be together. We took a few pictures of us.
