Innocence

The other day we bought some sunflower seeds and were eating them, Landyn's favorites are the Dill pickle ones. He was eating and thinking and I was just watching him. Braysyn had gotten a little sunflower in primary and it was growing, Lan had inquired about it being grown from real sunflower seeds, I told him yes it was, back to the story, he was eating the seeds he looks over at me all innocent and says, "mom so does that mean if we plant these dill pickle ones they will grow dill pickle seeds?" I had to chuckle at that one. If we could all stay so innocent as this wouldn't the world be a much better place.

oh Boy........or Girl!

Yea well what a surprise! We thought that we were done having kids but I guess not. I had to take three tests before Clint and I could believe it was true. we were really just shocked at first but we are really excited now. The kids are ecstatic over it they have been bugging me for the last year about having another one and I told them it was not going to happen. Braysyn will be 5 when this one is born so it will be kind of like starting over. so the date is November 28th. I guess Clint will be going to see the doctor about a few things here in a few months, so we don't have six. Oh well we had been talking about it for the last three years. He would say yes and I would say no and then I would say yes and he would say no. I don't think either one of us would have ever consented to it. I had been praying for an answer whether or not to have any more or not and could not decide, I think deep down I wanted one but didn't want to go through everything, I just prayed that if it was meant to be then we would just end up pregnant even though we were trying to prevent it and that is what happened so I know now that we had one more up there for us.

Happy Birthday Clint. I have been busy but I wanted to do a post for Clint for his 30th birthday. He turned 30 on Sunday. We had a small party for him. These are my top 5 things I love about him.
1. He has always been so good to me. I come first on his list no matter what he has to do.
2. I love his adventurous, crazy spirit.
3. He is an awesome dad, my kids love to spend time with him outside in the yard or riding motorcycles.
4. He's hot.
5. He always makes me feel like I am the most beautiful person ever even though I know I am not!

Happy Birthday baby. I LOVE YOU!

Grandma learns a lesson

The other day Austyn wanted to take his BB gun and go hunting birds,(I know this may be wrong but my brothers did this growing up) I let him go and not to long later this is what he came back with. He was very proud. My mom was here, she, trying to put Austyn on a guilt trip acted all sad and said "Austyn you should not shoot those birds, how would you feel if that happened to one of your pets or something, maybe they have babies or eggs or something." Austyn then replies" Well what about that bird that you had me and Landyn come over to your house and shoot that was in your tree all of the time." Mom: " well that is different, that bird was really bugging me doing stuff it shouldn't." Austyn: " yea, well this bird was really bothering me to so I took care of it too." Mom: " well I guess he just told me didn't he." Her plan back fired on her, you can't get anything past Austyn no way he is on his toes all the time, I don't get away with one ounce. It is good at times though because it keeps me on my toes. you gotta respect the "kids".

Our trip to Cottonwood

on our Easter Vacation we took a trip to some Moqui caves that my mom played in when she was a young girl. We had so much fun. These are the pics of us hiking to and from the caves. I wish I would have had my Video Camera on a one point, my Dad wanted me to take a picture 0f him and my Mom, he was just a grinning and walking along, in mid sentence he tripped over some wire and went sailing through the air. We were all concerned but he jumped up and brushed himself off, we all kind of giggled, his face was so red, notice I never did get the picture of him and my Mom, I don't know what happened after that. I was a beautiful day and everyone had a great time. We packed a lunch and ate when we were done.
