Mylee turns "1"

My baby girl turned 1 today. I cannot believe how fast this last year has flown by. She has brought so much joy and happiness into our home. She is such a little sweetheart. The kids love her so much. She is Daddy's little sweetheart and Mommy's little girl. She is going to be very smart I can already tell that, you can't get anything past her, she catches on to things very quick.
We had her Birthday party and she loved all her presents, she got two dolls, a book, some blocks to build stuff with, a shape sorting ball, a see and say some p.j.'s and a little musical book.

This is her own personal B-day cake, she wasn't quite sure what to think about it at first, she went for it with her mouth, then stopped, then she went for it with her hands and stopped, I finally got her a spoon and she started eating it.
She then got her little hands in it too, I love this, it's like she is trying to get me to stop taking pictures or something.
Her mug with her cake all over, she sure enjoyed it.
While I was getting stuff ready for her party, she dipped into my flour bins and had this flour all over her nose, she got caught in the act, there was no getting out of the fact that she was into my flour, she even goes to the drawer and gets a measuring cup and sticks down in there.
Mylee I am so glad that you came along, we were not sure we were having any more...well actually we had pretty much decided not to, I am so thankful that Heavenly Father knew otherwise, this little girl is just the cutest. We all love you very much Mylee girl! Happy first Birthday!

All stitched up

Clint called me on Sunday night and told me I was going to have to come home, I could hear screaming in the background and it totally freaked me out. Apparently Austyn had pushed her down the last few stairs and she had hit into the back of Braysyn's head, it split her head wide open. Clint brought her to me and I left work early and took her over to the ER. She was pretty scared about what was going to happen. She was okay until Dr. Becky showed up and she knew she was going to have to have a needle, then it was on. The nurse held her head and I held her hands. We finally got that taken care of and then she was a crack up the whole time she was getting stitched up. She had to have 12 stitched, 3 on the inside and 9 on the out. They gave her an ice cream and we were on our way. I hope it doesn't scar to bad.
She is the first of our kiddies to have stitches. The is pretty good for almost 12 years I guess.

Landyn and the Allstars

I love this Boy! We have had such a blast going to the All-Star games that Landyn has been playing in. He has done so well and had so much fun. He has made a lot of new friends and proven himself to alot of people.

Here he is with that new "Combat" bat, I swear it has a curse on it, he finally did hit with it in the last few games but he could not hit with this bat to save his life at first.
They actually was not this dirty but they all had to go slide into second base when the game was finished.
He is so proud to have another trophy to add to his collection from various sporting events. He is quite the competitor and We wouldn't have it any other way, this carries over to his academics also, he does just as well in school and is just as competitive.
Walking up to get his trophy after they called his name.

They took second but they had so much fun. Hopefully he has the chance to experience something like this again. Good job bud!

Brinkerhoff Happenings

Okay, so my life is so behind. I really hate not blogging, but honestly I cannot find the time do do it the way I want it so I just don't. I just threw together a few things that have been happening , so here goes! Braysyn graduated from preschool. yeah! He will move on to Kindergarten now, hope that goes well, you never know with that little teard!
Landyn got to hunt "Turkey" this year. he had so much fun. Stevie Pollock helped him learn how to hunt them. He ended up being able to call one in which was way cool. He is going to get the tail and beard mounted.
Braysyn at t-ball. They had pictures so I just snapped one too.

My two girls! This was at Maycee's piano recital.
Me and Mylee Jean on the "cow heard".

Austyn had a Birthday, he turned ten yrs old, I can hardly believe it. That boy sure keeps me on my toes. I sure do love him though. He is a good kid.

Mylee Jean! Isn't that just the cutest little face.

Just Mylee

I just wanted to post a few pictures of Mylee. She is changing so much. She is starting to want to crawl and I noticed yesterday that she is getting her first tooth. She is such a little cutie.

She loves to eat her toes. Anyway these are just some random pictures I have taken of her.

Track and Baseball

We have been soooo busy. May is always so crazy. Landyn had the District Track meet On Wednesday. He picked 4 events, this is all they are allowed. I talked him into one more event right at the last minute, they said it was okay since he was in the relay and that is not an individual event.
He did the High jump and he placed third in that.
He took 6th in the 100 m. He took 2nd in the 200 m, and the one I talked him in to, the 400 m he took 1st. They also took 1st in their relay. It was a fun day. I love to go watch the kids.

Baseball has been keeping us sooo busy....... like five days a week busy. This is Austyn, he is the catcher. He does an awesome job for how small he is. On Saturday we played a team, Escalante, They have 6th, 7th, and 8th graders on their team, this 8th grader came plowing into home and knocked aust flat, Clint was so mad, it is not fair that they play older kids like that, Austyn is in 3rd grade. He got the kid out though as he was mowing him over. It about knocked his tooth out but he's a tough little bugger, he went back out to catch and we won the game by 2.

Landyn hitting the ball. He did real well. He pitched too but my battery died before I got a pic of that.

Landyn and Mylee at one of their games. She isn't to sure about being out side for all these games.

Girls,Girls,Girls

This is kinda out of order now but these are the cupcakes that the girls made and decorated, they ate so many I'm surprised one of them did not get sick.

Maycee has never had a sleepover before and she kept bugging me to have one. I finally gave in and she invited 3 of her friends. I made this cupcake bouquet for them to eat and they thought that was pretty cool. This is Maycee and Vanessa.
Maycee and the cupcake bouquet.

Then they made their own Pizzas and cooked them.
Then they wanted to watch a Movie, I popped them some popcorn and they got their jammies on and watched, what else but High School Musical 3. That wasn't enough so then they watched Camp Rock. It was midnight by the time they got finished and a few had tuckered out by the time it was over. They had so much fun playing dress up's and changing clothes and running in and out of the house giggling and playing. Maycee was just giddy. It was a little different experience for me because I am used to boys and boy things. I must say that boys are so much easier, but I had fun with the girls. There was a litte drama every now and again but hey what is a girl party without the drama? Boring....... The next morning I made them waffles and they played dress up's again and then it was time to go home.
