Santa, and the Magic of Believing

Maycee wanted to leave something out for Santa, something like milk and cookies, I told her that Santa would probably prefer Diet Coke. So she ran in the kitchen and we heard the pop of a can and she brought out this glass of diet coke and some Ritz crackers. way to make do girl, because we had no cookies. Ahh, the magic of Believing! I love it.

Christmas Eve

Christmas eve has always been a highlight of Christmas for our family. We would always gather at my Grandpa and Grandma Chynoweth's house and watch them open all of their presents, then when all of us grandkids had our own kids we had to move it up to Ruby's Inn, eventually it turned into a big pot luck dinner with Chili, rolls, pies and whatever else we could muster up, there are alot of good cooks in the family and we all like to eat. Then last year on Christmas eve we could not have the party because Grandma was so sick with her cancer, all of her children gathered at her home for a small private party, Grandma's Birthday is on Christmas day, but she passed away at about 8:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve. It has been a hard day for my mom and I am sure everyone else thinking about her on this day. My hearts breaks to see my mom cry off and on all day. I know that she is happy where she is but of course it is hard for us here. I hope everyone has a merry Christmas and remembers the things that are simple and important in this life, as all hearts come home for Christmas!!!

Today's the Day the world gave us you!

My little Braysyn turned five on the 16th of December. I haven't had time to do a post yet so here it is. That is the face only a mother could love right there:)

Braysyn is such a fun little boy to have around. He is so lovable but yet such a little poop. Me and him have been inseparable for the last few years so it has been a Little different with Mylee here. He follows me around to whatever I am doing in the house and if he can't see me he will holler "mom... I like you" he does this so that I will have to answer and then he knows I am still around.

  1. I love Braysyns hugs and kisses.
  2. I love that Braysyn plays trucks and cows..... in on my bathroom vanity:)
  3. I love Braysyns witty ways.
  4. I love Braysyns smile.
  5. I love Braysyns innocence.
Happy Birthday to one of my favorite boys in the whole world!

How could this sweet little angel turn into this? (look below)
I don't know either but it happens.... all the time. I told clint that maybe she was allergic to my milk. I was kind of joking until we tried some formula and she was a much better baby. This morning when Clint left for work at 2:30 a.m. I decided to try my luck again.... not a good idea. I was up from then on with a screaming baby. we have tried the drops, candy cane which does help a little, and some other stuff. So I went and bought a can of formula and about had to take out a second mortgage, and I am in pain, extreme pain. But I am not willing to go to an allergy specialist to see what she is sensitive to that is in my diet so I guess we will go with formula. This does not completely solve the problem but she is 75 % better on the formula. Anyone have any amazing advice you could give to me? Anyone?
