The blood sucking fishing trip

We went fishing up at Pine Lake last Saturday. The kids thought it was a lot of fun. This is my photographer, he had to do a self portrait.This is just a picture of me that the photographer took, I know it is pretty scary but I worked all morning and then came and went fishing.

I took this one because he wanted to get in on a few.This here is Braysyn reeling in his fish that he caught. He was so proud of this one, he had his own pole and picked his own bait.

Then we got home and Clint screamed for all of us to come into the Laundry room, we ran in there and this is what we seen. can you guess what it is?. A gross sick leach. It had got on his foot while he was in the water I guess, he had some crocs on, when he got home he went into the Laundry room and thought it was a leaf until it would not come off.
This is what his foot looked like after he got it off, it looked like he had had an IV in him. Needless to say I couldn't stand the thought of that foot in bed with me so I made him put a band-aid on it even though he showered and all.

Breaking News

Well I couldn't stand it any longer I scheduled an ultra sound. After all of the hoop -la with the chinese charts and the heartbeat being like my boys, i just had to do it, because you know we were not going to find out what we were having. I had my regular appt today and then at 1:00 I went to the ultra sound. we seen this, and.........
This! Clint and I couldn't believe our eyes. We are having a girl. Maycee and Braysyn came with us and Maycee reached over and squeezed my arm and got the biggest grin on her face.

Then they took these 3 D pictures which I think are very cool. Who do you think she looks like? I will do a survey so be sure and check it out. We are very excited we need to come up with a name now. They said I was 4 days farther then what they thought so I would be due on the 24th of November instead of the 28th.

Clint and Father's Day

This is what the kids made for their Dad. I had seen the idea on the internet and Kyla told me their primary done this also. They loved decorating it, Emilee came and her kids done one for Dallas too. Clint never said a word about not wearing it to church I could tell he thought it was very cute, Dallas on the other hand had to have Landyn verify thatClint was actually going to wear his before he would go!





Clint is such an awesome husband and Father, my kids think he walks on water, he is constantly outside doing something with them, they love to mow lawns, play baseball and ride motorcycles. Thanks for being an awesome person in our lives, you take such good care of us. We love you. And Thank you Dale Jr. for the win today, this completed Clint's day!

Happy Fathers Day!

Since today is Fathers day I just wanted to let my dad know how much I love him. He is such an awesome Dad. I love him very much. Thanks for everything. We cooked steaks today after church and everyone had a good time.


This is my Dad before him and my mom were married up at the Bryce Canyon airport, I don't know the story behind the picture but I liked it, I wish you could see it up close more because he sure is a handsome devil:)

The Baseball Tournament

Lan and Aust had some games in Valley on Saturday, They took second in the tournament. They played real well, Austyn hit a 2 run triple and earned the MVP award in the first game which they lost.

Landyn pitched and earned MVP in the second game which they won.
We didn't have all of the boys there so they recruited their cousin Shandon to come and play with them, he thought it was a lot of fun.

Track meet

I wanted to do a little post on Landyn's track meet. He trained and worked so hard for this meet. He wanted to do the mile and Clint and I were not to sure of it, Kami told me that Taylyr said he was pretty good at it, we told him to go ahead and do what he wanted, they could pick 4 events.
There were 5 schools there and he took first in the mile, he missed breaking the record by 3 seconds. He took first in the 400, and second in the 100 he missed first by 1 tenth of a second. they took third in the 4x100 relay. All in all we were really proud of him. when he sets out to do something he makes it the very best.

The Big Cow Herd

This is the start of the cattle drive. Braysyn is driving and I am enjoying the ride I guess. He gassed it a little to much a few times and we about went off but it was still some good laughs.

Getting the job done.

All in all it was a fun day. It was very hot like 88 degrees. we had a few mishaps Landyns horse got away once. I almost got trampled on when the horse I was holding reared up on me and almost went backwards onto Kyla and Lainee on their 4 wheeler. Dad and Dallas and Landyn almost got took by a mad bull, although I missed that one. We will all look forward to next year.

Chinese Secret

So I tried one of those ancient Chinese secrets about whether I am having a boy or a girl. As far as I could tell based on the month of conception and my age at the time of conception I am having a boy. Then a chart below it said there was a fifty fifty chance. I better be having a girl or else!! We are supposedly not going to find out what we are having but I don't know if I can fight off the urge now. And Maycee told me that if it is a boy her life is going to be stupid. We will see I guess.
