This is what I done over the weekend. This is why I have been to busy to blog, heck I haven't even had much time to glance at any blogs until the other night. We went over to Cedar to the Region Basketball tournament since Clint is the assistant coach. This is a picture that Braysyn took of me and Maycee in the back and My mom in front of us. Pretty good picture taking for a litle guy I must say. And these are just a few of the faces that I had to endure while I was there for the 3 days. I could only capture a few of Maycee so I guess she was doing the most complaining.
Maycee actually took this one of herself, but she was probably thinking of asking me if she could make yet another trip to concessions, the bathroom or over to the cheering section.
This is what I really had to put up with. I told her I was going to get a picture of the horrible scene she was making, she wouldn't hold still so this is what she looked like. Attractive isn't it.
On Sunday we all settled in to watch the big Nascar race in California. It was raining/snowing here so you guessed it, that is what it was doing there too. We did not get to many laps in when it went on rain delay, but that was only after what? Yep you guessed it, Jr. got crashed. The track was wet another car slid and got him, he went to the garage and the race was red flagged. They raced again later on only to have it start raining again. After 80 laps they were on another rain delay. They had us on pins and needles untill 1:00 a.m. before they finally came on and told us they would finish tomorrow.
So I made these and we sat around and ate all night and made ourselves sick. I seriously need to get back on the South Beach.
When I woke up this morning this is what I had looking at me. I could tell it was going to be a fun day. But I had my little buddy and helper Braysyn to help me out.
I had a bunch of laundry baskets that were full of clothes that needed to be folded since we had been gone for 3 or 4 days, so I decided to get to work. I don't mind folding clothes but I absolutely hate to put them away.
This is what I do when I have to fold clothes. It gives me time to catch up on all of the T.V. shows that I TIVO because I don't have time to watch them during the day. I can't imagine why.
I also had to fold socks and I hate this more than anything. I hate hate hate socks with a passion. I wish that we just had disposable socks. This would make my life so much easier. I hate everything about them. Did I mention that I hate socks?
I also turned the race on and kept tabs on it while I was doing some things around the house. Carl Edwards ended up winning. Jr. was like 40th or something.
But I got things done and now I have the kids in bed and this is what things look like now. That is so much nicer to get up to in the morning. I can't stand to have a messy house.
And at last the laundry is all folded and put away. Yes even the socks, and I can see my bed again.
Anyway that is what had filled my last five days up. And here in a day or two we start all over again.

Just an idea, my mom had us start using safety pins when we took our socks off. That way they were already together when they came out of the laundry. You might want to give that one a try. I hate laundry too, good thing I'm not a pioneer and having to handwash, cause we would all run around in dirty clothes.
Good idea. I will try anything.
Thats what I hate about vaccations too, all the clean up after. But it sounds like you had fun anyway even with Maycie, Tell her she is a cutie anyway.
I hate socks too!! That's why I never wear them unless I'm working out. But otherwise, it's sandals for me all the way!! BTW, your house is georgous!
Hey if you want to do different backgrounds e-mail me and I'll walk you threw it. And you do have a beautiful house!
